Philosophy & FAQs
Know what to expect. Then get to work.
Coach Eddie’s philosophy
“DON’T WAIT FOR A LIFE-CHANGING MEDICAL EVENT TO START TAKING YOUR HEALTH SERIOUSLY. YOU MAY NOT GET YOUR OLD LIFE BACK EXACTLY THE WAY IT WAS.”
I’ve seen how quickly life can change. Suddenly, you’re dealing with medications, treatments, appointments—and wishing you had started sooner. You can’t always undo what happened. But you can still work toward a stronger future.
And honestly, I’m tired of the gimmicks and empty promises. People spend their hard-earned money because they want help. They’re trusting someone with their health, their time, and their hope. They deserve more than empty promises or another social media fad with no evidence behind it.
That’s why I built Tri Fitness. You deserve to understand what you’re doing and why. To have a plan grounded in science, coaching built around you, and someone who cares about your progress.
I want you strong enough to enjoy your life—to keep doing the things you love, with the people you love.
Start before you’re forced to. And if you’re already rebuilding, we start where you are.

Before you start.
Still unsure? Call or text Coach Eddie directly at 805-345-7388.
01Do I need to be in shape before I start?+
No. You do not need experience, confidence, or a certain fitness level before walking through the door. We meet you where you are and build from there.
02What happens during the free session?+
We discuss your goals and history, observe basic movement where appropriate, introduce the coaching environment, and complete an introductory training experience.
03What if I have an injury or medical condition?+
Tell us before training. Your history should inform the plan, and medical clearance may be required. Tri Fitness can modify exercise within a trainer’s professional scope and will refer you to an appropriate healthcare provider when needed.
04Is Tri Fitness a regular membership gym?+
No. Tri Fitness is a private, coaching-centered facility. Clients receive structure, programming, technique instruction, progression, feedback, and accountability rather than being left alone with equipment.
05Will I receive nutrition help?+
General nutrition and lifestyle guidance may include calories, protein, meal structure, hydration, recovery, and sustainable habits. Tri Fitness does not diagnose deficiencies or provide medical nutrition therapy.
06Are results guaranteed?+
No honest coach can promise an exact outcome—but you can expect a plan built around you, coaching that keeps you moving forward, and adjustments based on your progress. When you consistently show up, follow the plan, and communicate openly, you give yourself the strongest opportunity to make meaningful, lasting change. You will not be left guessing or trying to figure it out alone.
Tri Fitness provides fitness coaching and general wellness education. Services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or advice from a qualified healthcare provider. Medical clearance may be required before participation. Individual results vary.
